socialRadar is a Chrome extension that runs entirely in your browser. There is no socialRadar server, account or login.
What it reads
The Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest pages you open, to show, sort, download and transcribe the posts you are viewing, and the profiles you save in the Spy, to measure their public numbers once a day.
Where it is kept
In the extension’s chrome.storage and IndexedDB, on your computer. Files you download go to your downloads folder. Transcription runs on an AI model shipped inside the extension; the audio never leaves your computer.
What is sent out
Nothing goes to the developer or to third parties. The extension only makes requests to the social networks themselves and their content delivery networks, with the session you already have open, as your browser would.
No statistics, no tracking
The extension has no analytics, telemetry or error reporting. This site uses no tracking cookies either: its only cookie remembers the theme (light or dark) you picked.
Deleting your data
Remove items from the panel, or uninstall the extension: everything it stored is removed with it.
